Alan M. Otadoy is a Care Coach of Qualfon Cebu, Philippines. He has been supporting employees and staff of the Site for six years.
He was born in Poro Camotes Cebu and grew up in Cebu City where his parents relocated for a greener pasture. He took up a college degree in Classical Philosophy in the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila, and finished the Licentiate in Sacred Theology, or Master in Higher Religious Studies there. From the same university, he earned a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resources Management.
For more than 10 years, he worked as a Formator of candidates to the religious life and priesthood, and as school administrator. He taught Anthropology and Moral Philosophy in Quezon City for 5 years, and worked as human resources director in Bacolod.
He spent time in Basic Ecclesial Communities organizing in Manila and Cebu, helping people to form themselves towards an integrity of faith and life. He was close to the younger generation, mentoring them to maximize their human potential.
His motto is an admonition: ‘Don’t look at life challenges as a threat. Consider them as a growth opportunity.’
