Jennesan Canoy

Updated: Sep 17, 2021

Jennesan Canoy is one of our Philippines Care Coaches based in Dumaguete City. He supports around 3000+ Qualfon employees; making himself available in their spiritual, emotional health, and well-being. He had been in Qualfon for more than 5 years, immersing himself in the avenue of providing pastoral and emotional care, and coaching and mentoring to employees.

He was born and raised in a humble town of San Fernando, Cebu, Philippines. After high school, he responded a call to be a religious, consecrated and missionary life or simply a seminarian aspiring to be priest. He devoted 11 years of formation, starting from his Aspirancy up until his Theology. He took up his 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy at the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R). Then he advanced with his missionary exposures to the different apostolates of his Religious Congregation, doing the work of forming, mentoring and educating the life of students and seminarians. In their institutions, he taught Religion and Christian Values subjects, Christian Ethics subject, Philosophy and Theology subjects. He too had been a Formator to Seminarians during his Religious-in-Practical Training. He pursued his further studies-Bachelor of Theology at the Institute of Theological Studies, Don Bosco School of Theology in Parañaque, Manila.

Prior to joining Qualfon, Jennesan was once an agent, a Trainer and a Supervisor in one of the BPO’s in Cebu, Philippines. He knew very well how it is to be an agent, a customer service representative, a mentor and a leader. His remarkable experiences in those BPO’s sent him to Qualfon, as a Care Coach that would help transform the life, betterment and journey of a Qualfon employee.

In life, Jennesan believes, that each one is called to experience and savor God’s grace. The rich Greek word that describes this God’s grace is “polipoikilos.” It literally means “many colored, or multi-colored.” This led us to believe that God’s grace, works and adjust and be effective to any situation which life brings us. Thus, here in Qualfon, Coach Jennesan did his best to be a conduit or a vessel of this belief and certainty, so that one may realized and experienced this “polipoikilos”-ness of the grace of God as an agent, a mentor, a manager, a messenger and a leader. So be it.
